For customers in the United States who handle Protected Health Information (PHI), HIPAA requires a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with any service provider that may have access to that data.

Our BAA ensures that Camelo, as your Business Associate, follows strict HIPAA requirements when handling PHI. This agreement is available to all healthcare organizations that use Camelo’s platform.

What the BAA covers

  • Camelo acts as your Business Associate under HIPAA.
  • Permitted uses and disclosures; minimum necessary principle.
  • Data return and deletion on termination.
